What is an analog camera?

A: An analog surveillance camera begins with a CCD sensor and then digitizes the image for processing. What is the difference between DVR and NVR?

A: Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is a device that records audio and video input, typically from a television signal, on to a hard disk. Network Video Recorder (NVR), on the other hand, is a software program that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card or other mass storage device. An NVR contains no dedicated video capture hardware.

Can my electrical contractors handle the wiring and piping instead?

A: To meet the company standards, we strongly suggest that the wiring be included in our framework. This is because we had experienced issues during and/or after turn-over period when we allow external contractors to handle the wiring. As for the piping, we have no problem allowing them to proceed.

Is the system legal and safe?

A: Perimeter Fence is a non-lethal system that gives a short, sharp, painful but safe shock to any would-be intruder. The system components and system design installation comply with product standards and Perimeter Fence “Code of Practice” that exceed existing installation practices around the world. Furthermore, signs are placed at strategic intervals to ensure visibility. The Perimeter Fence System is a safe and legal system to install.

What happens when someone touches, cuts and tampers with the Perimeter Fence wires?

A: Anyone who touches (including animals) the Perimeter Fence, when armed, is repelled by the safe shock it gives. Alarms are triggered only when someone attacks, tries to climb through or tampers with the Perimeter Fence System. False alarms are thus greatly reduced, if not eliminated.

Are there any procedures or maintenance requirements needed for the Perimeter Fence System?

A: The Perimeter Fence System, and its components, are designed to exceed internationally set standards. The Perimeter Fence system can last for years. In addition, Best Automation uses only standard stainless steel type 304 in all its brackets, bolts and nuts are also stainless steel. Thus, making the system, 95% maintenance free.

What happens during power failures or brownouts?

A: All Perimeter Fence Systems are installed with a standby power supply. In the event of power failures or brownouts, the rechargeable back-up battery powers the system for continuous protection with all the features operational.

Can the Perimeter Fence System be used in conjunction with CCTV, security lightning and other alarms monitoring systems?

A: YES. The Perimeter Fence System is very flexible. Alarm and zone alarm outputs can be used to trigger or operate all forms of alarm monitoring, annunciation or signaling systems. It can be installed as a stand-alone system or directly interfaced with any other type of intruder alarm, access control or integrated security system.

What is the electric consumption of the system?
A: The system uses an average of 40 watts, similar to a light bulb.

How much does a Perimeter Fence System cost?

A: Every house has its unique wall design and height. A visual security inspection is needed to give a fair and reasonable price. Only items that are needed will be charged to you, thereby, bringing the cost down.

How long will it take to finish the project?

What is an Access Control System?

A: Access Control System refers to the system where entry and exit by means of a door, gate, turnstile or other devices are regulated. Only authorized persons at the right time and right entry/exit point can be allowed access, provided they have the valid RFID cards or biometrics/other.

What if the power fails? Are the users will be locked in/out of the building or area?
A: The Access Control System is installed with a backup battery system that can support up to 3 to 4 hours of work time, regardless of the locking mechanism. Emergency break glass and key switch are also installed for bypass purposes.
